Wow, what a day! Days of rain leading up to the Saturday and a forcast of more rain over the weekend, I started to think OzBug was in for another wet day in Nelsons Bay. But come Saturday morning the sun was shinning and the new forcast was for a brilliant sunny day.
This Wedding turned out to be a little different in that Shari had everything pre-programed to have their photos taken before they exchanged their vows. I started out by picking up Rohan at home in Medowie, we drove into the Bay and picked up Shari, and I have to agree with Rohan when he commented how beautifull she looked.
We drove to several locations around the Bay that Shari had picked to capture the moment of their special day. From there we traveled to the Hunter Valley Winery for their marriage and reception.Congratulation to you both, it was a pleasure for OzBug to be a part of your special day, and I wish you all the best for your future.

Families enjoying OzBug

Two families,one from Tamworth and the other from Griffith were visiting our beautiful Forster area through the Ronald Mcdonald Family Retreat.They were encouraged to contact OzBug for a ride around our area.

I had the pleasure of sharing some time with two wonderful devoted families.I just love to hear the screams of excitement from the children and possibly the parents as OzBug roars off from the cottages at the waterfront.I take them on a tour around the area which includes a zooooom down a steep hill, and to hear the kids in the back laughing with joy along with their parents as I scream out "we just reached 150 ks" sure brings a smile to my face. I am sure those two families will remember the OzBug; and my prayer for them is that God gives them the desires of their hearts. Geff.

Putting smiles on children's faces.
Oz Bug, in conjunction with Ronald McDonald Family Retreat, Forster, is involved in giving families of sick children a holiday, free of charge. This is not only great for the sick child but also for their parents or carer.The families are encouraged to contact Oz Bug(Geff)and we arrange a sightseeing trip around Forster, the only charge required is a smile.It's just a small thing, but it's wonderfull to see their little faces light up as the Bug takes off with that distintive roar from the modified lukey muffler-you get the impression you're going much faster than you really are.There's not a lot these children have to smile about but no amount of money can deliver that happy lasting image for them the way Oz Bug can! I find it such a rewarding joy as do all the people involved at Ronald MacDonald Family Retreat

The day was overcast and periods of rain as I was driving down from Forster. I arrived on time 1.15. The bride was traditionally late, and I was thinking at the time, we could get very wet, as a large black cloud was threatening. It had cleared as we arrived at the beach and the guests were waiting patiently on the sand, as the bridal party walked down the isle on the beach, the wind started to pick up, balloons started to fly and the table used to hold the emblems had to be held down.The ceremony was saved from being rained out, much to the relief of the guests, unfortunatly the bride and groom weren't so lucky, they got slightly drenched running back to the car, but everything turned out well, we always come prepared with dry towels etc.
Oz Bug uses an old scout moto BE PREPARED.
